MassLINKS Adult Education Online Academy

Online Adult Education for Massachusetts Residents

The MassLINKS Adult Education Online Academy provides no-cost academic and language acquisition courses for eligible individuals across Massachusetts. Funded by the Adult and Community Learning Services (ACLS) unit of the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), MassLINKS is the only fully virtual, statewide adult education program in Massachusetts. MassLINKS offers live virtual courses preparing students either High School Equivalency exam (GED or HiSET) approved in Massachusetts, or to build foundational English language skills for academic and/or workplace success through English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL/ESL) classes. All classes are offered online with morning, afternoon, evening, and limited Saturday programming available to meet the needs of students with any schedule!

MassLINKS Mission

MassLINKS provides access to no-cost, virtual educational services to eligible residents of Massachusetts supporting their educational attainment and employability through rigorous, standards-based basic skills and/or English language instruction, workplace readiness instruction, and college preparation activities. Coursework prepares students for entry into postsecondary education or training opportunities and/or employment within the priority industries of Massachusetts.
